Jake Curry with Environmental Services at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for September.

Curry works the night shift and is diligent to respond to the needs of both patients and colleagues. He is detail-oriented and anticipates needs, checking in with the nursing staff regularly throughout his shifts to make sure everything is in order.

“Jake never stops at his basic duties but continually circles back to check in with people about the spaces he’s responsible for,” wrote his nominator. “He is a huge asset to the night shift, always pleasant to work with and providing high quality work. He rounds frequently, emptying linens, garbage and sharps.”

Curry has worked for Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2024.
