Scott Sewell, a technical support specialist with Information Services, is Colleague of the Month for System Resources at Memorial Health.
Colleagues rave about the customer service Sewell provides and cite his availability, expertise, passion for problem-solving and the way he understands how computers affect patient experience.
“Not only does Scott promptly resolve issues, but he consistently takes it a step further and looks to see what other problems could potentially be fixed while he’s there,” wrote one nominator. “The quality of the work he produces is unmatched. He is incredibly thorough and thinks of the little things that can make a difference to both providers and patients.”
One example of his focus on patient experience was when he implemented a setting to mute a sound produced by one of the computer programs to avoid unnecessary noise in exam rooms and to create a more quiet environment for patients.
Another nominator noted: “Scott's work is top level. Everything he has done for our clinics has taken a lot of work and dedication to give us the outcomes we desired.”
Sewell has worked for Memorial Health since 2021.
