Lincoln Memorial Hospital will hold a Walktoberfest Walking Challenge, a fun and healthy way to embrace the autumn season. Throughout October, the challenge invites community members to complete 25 laps on the LMH Wellness Trail. The challenge starts Oct. 1 and ends Oct. 31.
The Walktoberfest Challenge is designed to encourage people of all ages to stay active and enjoy the fall season all while experiencing the beauty of the LMH Wellness Trail. Whether you’re an avid walker or looking to start a new fitness routine, this challenge offers an excellent opportunity to improve your health while having fun.
Participants can track their progress using the QR code on trail signage. Anyone who completes the 25 laps will receive a special Walktoberfest T-shirt.
“We’re thrilled to offer a challenge that provides a motivating way for people to stay active during the fall season,” said Molly McCain, community health coordinator at LMH. “The Walktoberfest Challenge is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, meet fellow community members and achieve personal fitness goals.”
