Kelly Davis, insurance pre-authorization specialist, is the System Resources Colleague of the Month at Memorial Health for August.
Insurance pre-authorization can be challenging for patients. Nearly a dozen nominators described Davis as a dedicated colleague whose in-depth knowledge of the process helps patients, their families and colleagues obtain the required information to complete often-complicated processes.
“Kelly has been serving as an amazing resource for the Transplant team,” wrote one nominator. “She helps make sure we have insurance coverage, helps us navigate the electronic world of prior authorizations and answers questions when we are unsure. Most importantly, she helps us keep our transplant patients healthy by making sure there are no insurance delays in their care.”
Davis has worked for Memorial Health since 2009.
