Foley works as the lead nurse in the gastroenterology department and is known as a “walking encyclopedia” when it comes to procedures, tests and lab results. She assists others when needed, communicates effectively with people at all levels and is proactive about learning new skills and processes and encouraging others to do the same.

Her bedside nursing manner is also highly regarded by patients.

“Cartha’s patient experience skills are exemplary,” wrote one nominator. “She is the nicest nurse I’ve spoken with. She was very patient and answered all my questions.”

Foley has worked for Memorial Health since 2016.
