April is National Donate Life Month, dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation. In 2025, SMH had 16 organ donors and 65 tissue donors. 

Each year, Memorial Health hospitals hold flag-raising ceremonies to honor donors and their families. Colleagues and the public are invited to join at the flagpole. Learn more about organ donation.
