Matt Hudacek, a medical lab scientist in hematology at Springfield Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for December.

His colleagues appreciate Hudacek for his work ethic, timeliness and attention to detail. He prioritizes learning new things and takes pride in tracking down answers to questions.

“Matt is one of the hardest workers I know, and ensures tasks are completed not only well but in a timely and efficient manner,” wrote his nominator. “He is beyond courteous and respectful and brings a smile to everyone’s faces even on the toughest and busiest of days.”

Hudacek has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2022.
