Makayla Yoho, RN, with outpatient infusion at Springfield Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for November.
A charge resource nurse, Yoho earns the trust of patients with her attention to detail and dedication to providing the highest standard of patient care. Her nominator described how Yoho anticipates needs, supports her colleagues without hesitation and maintains a calm, solutions-focused approach no matter the circumstances.
“Makayla’s ability to manage complex situations with grace and competence makes her the backbone of our team – a steady presence we all rely on,” wrote her nominator. “Her leadership is subtle yet impactful. Colleagues look to her for guidance and reassurance knowing she will always provide sound clinical judgment and a supportive word.”
Yoho has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2023.
