The public is invited to the annual Lincoln Memorial Foundation Light Up a Life tree-lighting ceremony, which will take place Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 5:30 p.m. in front of Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The ceremony will celebrate loved ones and honor those who have passed. A free soup supper, dine in or grab-and-go, is provided with an RSVP to the event.
An option to donate to the Lincoln Memorial Foundation in honor, remembrance or appreciation of a loved one is also available. Honorary names will be printed in special online-only publications of The Courier, Lincoln Daily News and New Herald News. Deadline for names to be included in the online editions is Dec. 5.
Donations allow the Lincoln Memorial Foundation to provide health care career education grants, purchase medical equipment to improve patient care, strengthen the LMH Community Health Collaborative and enhance the vital programs of the LMH Auxiliary.
For more information, to RSVP for the soup dinner or to donate to the Lincoln Memorial Foundation as part of the Light Up a Life campaign, email almhfoundation@mhsil.com or visit memorial.health.
