A special event honoring 150 years of hospital health care in the Jacksonville community will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Hamilton’s, 110 North East in Jacksonville.
“This has been a great year full of fun activities to celebrate a milestone anniversary in the life of our community,” said Trevor Huffman, president and CEO of Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. “As we look back on 150 years of quality health care through the establishment of a local hospital here in Jacksonville, we have much to be grateful for and many people to thank.”
The public is invited to purchase tickets for the dinner and musical program, which will feature skits from past JMH Auxiliary hospital fundraising shows called “The Follies.” Cast members will include current and former hospital employees, physicians and other previous cast members.
