Brandy Dennis, a physician peer review coordinator at Springfield Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for August.
Dennis is recognized by patients and colleagues alike for her dedication to helping patients and families navigate difficult and complex medical decisions. She provides thorough and accurate information and always treats patients with respect.
“Brandy has a knack for bringing a voice of reason to the discussion and for keeping the conversation on point, while also expressing care and concern for the patient and their loved ones,” wrote the nominator. “She gently guides them through medical jargon and hospital processes in a way they can understand and feel comfortable with.”
Dennis has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2003.
