Olga Lomeli, a medical assistant for the Memorial Wellness Center, is the Memorial Health Ambulatory Group Colleague of the Month for August.

Lomeli started as a front office specialist and moved into the nurse’s station after completing her medical assistant certification. Her bilingual skills also help ensure quality care for patients who require language assistance.

“Olga is an amazing addition to the clinical side of our department,” wrote her nominator. “She always puts patients first. She’s flexible to do whatever we need her to do, whether to room patients, hop back on the phones or to help the front desk.”

Lomeli has worked for Memorial Health since 2011.
