The Taylorville Memorial Hospital (TMH) Auxiliary recently announced the 2025 TMH Auxiliary Scholarship Awards, which recognize exceptional colleagues who advance their education in the healthcare field.
The following three colleagues each received $1,000 scholarship awards: Mia Lane, nursing technician; Felicia Strauch, manager of Pulmonary Services; and Kinsey Swigert, RN, surgery.
“These three TMH colleagues show remarkable dedication, passion and commitment to making a difference for others,” said Cheryl Sexton, president of the Auxiliary. “We are delighted to support them as they further their education in pursuit of career goals in a healthcare field.”
Lane is pursuing her goal to become an RN. Strauch is continuing graduate school studies in healthcare administration while Swigert is working toward a doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) with plans to become a family nurse practitioner.
The awards are distributed annually by the Auxiliary.
