Jesse Cummings-Cabit, RN, with acute care at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for February.
Cummings-Cabit prioritizes patient care even when it requires extra effort. His nominator noted he recently went to the grocery store and purchased some food items for a patient in the swing bed program at LMH. The patient had been in the hospital for quite a while, and the hospital didn’t carry several items the patient wanted.
“The patient was very appreciative,” wrote the nominator.
Another colleague wrote: “Jesse has shown his dedication to our patients and his profession in being a preceptor for student nurse interns. He’s also joined the LMH Mentor Program as a mentor and advanced on the clinical ladder, which enhances the quality of care provided on the unit. He’s an amazing RN.”
Cummings-Cabit has worked for Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2023.
