Deb Owens, a team lead in health information management at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for May.

Owens is a two-time Colleague of the Month having last received the honor in 2014. She has worked in medical records for nearly 40 years and is always willing to help with any tasks and take on extra responsibilities if needed.

“Debbie is an excellent role model for the rest of the department and the hospital as a whole,” wrote her nominator. “She is so passionate about her work and helping others. Her spirit is very upbeat, and that quality is contagious to the rest of her department.”

Owens has worked for Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 1986.
